If it has been brand new tattoo , you need to put noon scented lotion on tattoo .you do not want it to be dry .need to keep the tattoo moist.

Please don't apply scented lotion on it, it will burn and infect the area. You don't need that area smelling good or adding any chemicals in it. You need to add a tattoo ointment.don't wet it while taking a bath. Apply plastic wrap with tape around the edges. Than take it off when your done in the shower. Be gentle and good luck.
