How Long Should I Cover My New Tattoo?

The dressing is only on the tattoo to prevent it from bleeding.  Once the bleeding has stopped then it is safe to take it off.  Then you want to keep it moist with either A&D ointment or tattoo goo for the first week or so until the scabs come off.  Then make sure you get some good scent and color free lotion.  Keep applying that from time to time, until you notice that the tattoo quits drying out.  Then your good to go

Ith what if you mean a dressing then after a day take it off to let it dry out if you mean cream keep applying every couple of hours until it is nearly healed but don't pick I made that mistake it takes out the colour
