Vitamin A & D ointment... It's the absolute best.  lightly cover tattoo, not til is glistening, just covered lightly.  Keep it that way until the peeling is over.  When you are finished with that stage, they make a really great HEMP lotion that is fantastic for keeping tattoos bright as they were the day you got them.

I'm already using an ointment until the peeling is over but I'll definitely try the hemp lotion. Thanks a lot!

Got the start of a full sleeve last Thursday. Got home and run the tat under a hot shower for 5 mins. I have used Bepanthon 3 times a day and the tat is covered with just my normal cotton clothes, no cling film or anything else. I have still been going to the gym and pla playing squash but no swimming, just shower and dab dry. It started to peel  very lightly with a little itching on Saturday. Its know Tuesday and its still peeling but no scabs. It looks like it has a light skin film over the bits that have not peeled. It looks really good and I'm happy the way it's going. I just followed what the artist told me.

I suggest curel unscented lotion! A&D and Vaseline don't allow the skin to breathe and should never be used on a tattoo. When completely healed use sun block to prevent color fading.

Maybe you should just get a good wet rag and put a little pressure on the tattoo with it..! But don't leave it there for a long time..! Hoped I  helped..! Sorry if I didn't..!
