It's a lot easier if you have an elastic first and then use the big clip  but if not...try  putting your hair in a ponytail with your hand and then twist it a couple of times...then try to clip the ponytail up to the back of your head....hope this helped.....

My hair is thick too. I bought a few big clips. Tried clipping my hair back with it. Didnt work. Try clipping half up. Then put little clips in your hair, (at the back) to tie the other half up. Then remove the half of hair in the big clip. Then try working with the hair. To get it all in the clip. If it includes keeping some hair in tiny clips, then so be it. Just make sure it doesnt show (the clips)

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!

My hair is thick and I have this one hair clip and when I tie my hair up I do it near  the nape of my next then clip it to the back of my head.. It looks nice, if your hair isn't TOO long, but still long.. Unfortunately my hair is to long

I have the same issue... I have to put it in a ponitail first and then use more than one clip. The hard part is finding a clip that doesn't show.
