You, my dear, are missing some vitamins. Nexxus has a product pack for that problem. Sometimes your shampoo will do that and hard water doesn't help. As a stylist for 28 years I found a lot of people that use hairspray everyday have that problem.  If the hair pieces that fall are small it is breakage. Need a trim and a rinse of vinegar and water to clean and balance your hair.

Thanks! I don't use hairspray so it's not that. As a stylist do you have any recommendations on shampoo (that's not too expensive!) ?

I'm 15, and I mean, I use all of the good shampoos, Head and Sholders and all those 'Salon style, shop affordable' stuff, but every time I brush my hair or wash it for that matter, i get a hand full of hair when i run through it. My mom said it could be stress, but I'm 15. Maybe I stress about my hair falling out, that makes my hair fall out, like a giant circle. But I don't know what to do!

The average hair loss per day per person is about 100.  I loose a lot of hair daily too.  I have to vacuum it off the bathroom floor daily!!  (well, I should) And I'm not thinning either.  I'm 55 and it's been like this my entire life.

Also loosing of hair can be because of stress and depression

That's normal. Hair falls about 100 to 150 strand a day is considered as normal.

Go to sally's hair & beauty store, there's some really good salon shampoos/conditioners in there at affordable prices, one I'd recommend is Schwartzcroft Bonnacure damage repair. You'll also will need a trim as expressed by the first replier.
