It is actually really easy, burn a few pieces of news paper, collect the ashes on cardboard or anything else that will collect ashes, I found the best way is to put the ashes into an empty 20oz soda bottle and shake the bottle to break the ashes down into dust, once that is done add a little bit of water then shake it several times to mix it well, it might take a few tries but the end result should be a thin, dark black ink that is great for tattooing

Because the paper was made with certain toxic chemicals, wouldnt it bring those chemicals into the ashes, and then your tattoo? Just wondering because id rather not kill myself makeing/applying my tattoo. :)

I've seen this done many ways with what time I have done in jails and instituitions from checker pieces, burning baby oil, ciggerate ash.... Most of the time the suit is mixed with something with a consistency such as toothpaste with a little water~

For black "prison style" ink, cut up and burn some black rubber (a bike inner tube, a boot heel, ect.) until it's burned all the way through and is powdered. Mix the powder with a little urine. Just enough to make a very thin paste like consistency. Use your own urine if the ink is intended for your own skin. If it's for someone else, use their urine (you can't get anything you don't already have from your own urine). Next strain the mixture through a clean sheet or pillow cloth. Discard the cloth and anything that doesn't strain through. What does strain through is your ink.
