Well, as Rooster and Trisha say above, yes you could, but you might want to think again before using it for a stick and point tattoo. Daler Rowney make inks for artists who may use them for anything from calligraphy to decorations, not for skin! Also... It might not turn out as well as you think it might. A stick and point tattoo could look pretty cool, like this:

...But the likelihood is, it'll end up looking something like this:

I would say, it's better to stay away from the Black India Ink and needles and go and see a professional tattoo artist. There are some great ones out there, wherever you live!

If you're not convinced, there are some ideas here for making 'safe' homemade tattoo ink which might be a better option... Whether they actually are safe is another matter: //beauty.blurtit.com/1068398/how-can-i-make-safe-homemade-tattoo-ink

A lot of people love their stick and point tattoos, though. Here's a video of a girl sharing her experiences, and she's quite good at showing you the pros and cons:

Well, you can use Indian Ink for a Stick and Point tattoo but why on earth would you want to?

To be honest I am amazed at the things people use to do handmade tattoos, some make their own ink with ashes and another person used shoe polish - what?!
Firstly I don't see why anyone would risk getting poisoned just to get a picture on their skin, and secondly, why would anyone want to risk doing something so permanent, which could horribly wrong?

Professional tattooists are there for a reason; they are artistic by nature and have been trained to deliver tattoos in a safe way. Not only will you not have to worry about being poisoned (of course you can get an infection but that's just the chance you take and a professional would tell you how to deal with this situation).
When getting inked by a pro, you will get a work of art instead of a homemade attempt that you may probably hate in a few years time.

Tattoos are supposed to mean something; they are to be worn with pride. So surely it is worth waiting a while and saving enough to visit a professional tattoo artist who can give you the time, attention and expertise that something this huge and longterm deserves.

You *can*, but would I or any professional suggest it? Probably not. It isn't safe to give yourself a stick and poke and I suggest getting any and all tattoos done by a professional.

Yes you can, but don't use much as you might get blood poisoning. Think real hard before you do that as it will be with you the rest of your life.

No, do not do this. Some Indian inks contain Paraphenylenediamine, a known allergen. Most are safe, but some are not, and there is no way of telling which are which. (I speak from personal experience).
