Actually I would say more like a quarter to half an inch depending on the person...mine is slower than most and some people's grows really fast.
I think that your hair grows roughly 1/2 an inch per month. Depending on how often you cut it. I get mine cut about once every 3 weeks I have about 14 of an inch taken off just to get rid of the split ends that way your hair grows faster,stronger and healthier.
Roughly it grows half a inch.
