Can Tanning Beds Change Hair Color Darker? My Hair Is Naturally Very Light Blond Though I've Never Dyed It And I'm Already In My 20's. I Recently Went Tanning & My Hair Seems To Be A Darker Color(more Bronze Like) Now! Is It The Tanning Bed!?

YES!  I'm a licensed hairdresser.  IF you go to a tanning bed that has MORE tanning rays * (These vary and you should ask the owner which ones tan more)  YOUR hair also will tan.  What I mean by that is ... It starts
to CHANGE the color of your hair.  Just like you would if you go OUTSIDE and tan.  HAIR COLOR will CHANGE with the sun.  The darker color that you are experiencing is starting to bring out the RED in your hair.  Any lightening...(depending on the person some people NEVER go into reds)  However,  lots of people the FIRST
color that they go through when lightening the hair is RED...or GOLDEN RED colors.  You may be experiencing this color change....just like you would out in the real sun.

My hairdresser told me to wear a turban in the tanning bed.
