You can always get a darker shade, preferably black since it would take a very dark colour to cover the ginger red that you've got. Just coat the hair well with the black hair dye and wash it off and if it is still not fully covered, cover it with dye once again and wash it off. Any color gives a better result if you apply it and wash it off twice. Good luck!

The same thing happened to me just now! I think a toner will be the only way to fix it. Dying it darker again could result in green! Ewwwww!

Just cover the hair well and wash it off and if the red still shows, cover it with the dye once again, not only the areas that you've missed but all of it and wash it off. Hopefully it'll tone down the red color and you'll look more presentable. Good luck!

Dark blue black will cast out the red. I would get my ph level adjusted by way of an apple cider rinse.1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 quart of warm water comb through and rinse well. The next day color with a creme color. Add shampoo to color for blending. Watch those ends they are porous & will grab darker if not careful, 5 minutes.
