You are very fortunate if, indeed, you have a truly oval face....Ovals can wear ANY style...so yes, I'd go with the shorter style....and by all means, switch to those shampoos and conditioners made for 'frizzy' or 'curly' hair....I have coarse gray hair and they are wonderful!!! You will think you have a new head of hair!!!!!
