There are many things that you can do to ensure that you can cure the acne that you have on your head. Shampooing your hair frequently and as recommended, washing your pillow case and considering talking to a dermatologist are all going to ensure that you are going to succeed and that you are going to be acne free as soon as possible.

Shampooing your hair as much as you should be is going to ensure that you are always going to be keeping your scalp clean and that is there is going to be any more acne and itchiness, that it can be soothed by the shampoo and taken care of.

Following this by washing your pillow case as much as possible is also going to ensure that your hair and head is going to be clean and that you are not going to be encouraging the acne to keep coming back as you are not going to be sleeping on the same dead hair follicles which come off our skin every night. If you have done this and the acne is still there and is still as pain as ever, the final thing that you are going to need to do is to go to a dermatologist.

They are going to be able to give you more powerful treatments which are going to have a much more positive affect if your acne has become too bad for the normal methods to work. Although this may seem a bit extreme, it is what you are going to have to go to ensure that you are not going to have any problems from the acne in the future and that it can be taken care of properly and correctly. The professionals are going to know what they are talking about, so you are going to have to take their advice to ensure that you are not going to suffer any longer!

Ive suffered with these for nearly 4 years on both side and top of head.Antibiotics clear them but they always come back. After searching the net for hours I decided to try Turmeric tablets ......I'm 3 weeks in,I no longer take antibiotics and my head has cleared up fantastically.I'm getting a odd one but it only half swells up,I'm working on what mg to take as I'm currently taking 400mg twice a day. Please don't give in and try this method,so far its really working for me.

You can do following things.

1. Wash your hair or head at least once.
2. Use shampoo for oily hair.
3. Don't oil your hair. If you want to do oiling then do it on hair tips.
4. Use medicated Shampoos (but for this consult the doctor).

Hope these tips might help you. Enjoy blurting :)

Get yourself a product including Salicylic acid. This costs like 10€ in a pharmacy and will last you some time. Personally I apply this while showering on my upper back but you could also use it similiar to a face wash, depending in your problem zone.

Then get you a prescribtion for a product including Zinc acetate as a topical. (at least you need a prescribtion for this in Europe). You could add zinc as a supplement (pills).

If this is not working (and I promise it will). You would have to go for harder stuff like retinol creme

Well there can be many reasons for Bumps on the head, apart from acne or pimples. It could be boils or bumps formed by a wound. However, since your concern is acne, following are some home remedies for it:
Dip a cotton ball in any good skin cleanser that contains  salicylic acid and apply on the acne area on your head.
- Never use any cream for acne that contains benzoil peroxide or any other peroxide ingredient on your scalp.
- Mix 4 parts tea tree oil to 1 part lavender oil in olive oil or any other oil. Use this mixture as a shampoo.
- Boil some neem leaves in water (Since this tree is specific to south asia you might not be able to find it in UK or US or any other European country). Wash your head with this water when it is warm.
- Drink Wheatgrass juice
- Use fresh mint juice on your scalp
-Mix turmeric powder and mint juice. Apply on scalp and wash after 30 minutes with luke warm water.

I have the same problem with spots on my scalp, it starts with itchy then turn to sore, so far I just use shampoo for oily hair, it helps but unfortunately, it doesn't get rid of them.
