Adults, like teenagers, can get acne and pimples. Acne and pimples are caused by a blockage in the pores of the skin. Anyone can get acne or pimples anytime on their face or on any part of their bodies.

It is a lot harder to treat acne and pimples in an adult than it is to treat them in a teenager. One of the main reasons that an adult may get acne or pimples is due to a hormonal change or imbalance within the body. If this is the case, then the hormonal problem will have to be treated in order to eliminate the acne or pimples. It is also far more common for adult women to develop acne or pimples than men because women have different hormones than men.

In order to treat adult acne or pimples, the doctor usually prescribes some sort of hormonal therapy with an antibiotic ointment or cream that is rubbed on the acne or pimples. You should consult a doctor if you condition is severe.

Life today is very different than it was 50 or 70 or even 100 years ago. We are filling our bodies with hormone-enriched dairy and meat products. The stress that comes with modern life (hello trying to work, raise a family and keep up with Facebook) can also mess with our hormones.

So how to fix this? You can use your acne as a reason to finally take up yoga or meditation. You can use your acne as a reason to go on birth control pills which can control those hormones that cause acne. And you can use your acne to start eating organic meats and dairy products.

If our body is affected by stress likewise, our skin's wellbeing can be influenced by your anxiety level. On the off chance that you experience the ill effects of stress acne, you have without a doubt found this for yourself. Pimples appear to pop up overnight when you feel yourself overpowered.

No matter what age you are now you can still have acne. Acne is caused by blockage of the sebaceous glands. As long as you have sebaceous glands and are always blocked you will still have acne.

People can get acne at any age.  Most commercial skin care products contain harsh ingredients which contribute to the cause of acne.  Often, the skin's natural protective reaction against these harsh ingredients is oil production on the face.  Consider using handcrafted, sin care products made with mild and gentle, natural, ingredients.  Ingredients such as:  Aloe vera juice, shea butter, green tea, flaxseed, goat milk and more all help to either prevent, fade, reduce, or eliminate acne or acne scars.

Natural goat milk soap has helped a lot of acne sufferers.  This handcrafted, natural soap can contain any of the natural ingredients mentioned above.  It is available in bar or liquid form.  It comes in a variety of mild and gentle, natural, scents or unscented too.  It is a natural, healthful, skin care soap.

I am 30. Here is my suggestion:

Get yourself a product including Salicylic acid. This costs like 10€ in a pharmacy and will last you some time. Personally I apply this while showering on my upper back but you could also use it similiar to a face wash, depending in your problem zone.

Then get you a prescribtion for a product including Zinc acetate as a topical. (at least you need a prescribtion for this in Europe). You could add zinc as a supplement (pills).

If this is not working (and I promise it will). You would have to go for harder stuff like retinol creme.

This coud also be a result of genetics, where you are prone to producing too much oil on your face/body. I suggest going to a doctor or finding another type of cleansing system.

"Acne and pimples are caused by a blockage in the pores of the skin. " I do agree with this. This is most common when people don't move much, swet less and don't shower much. Do you go to gym or do sports? If not you have to begin!

The other problem could be - you got a achne bug! If you get big underskin pimples which take long to go away. The skin deformation occurs with time etc. Contact doctor. Special medication needed.
