Not at all, you just feel pressure and a little pinch
but that really depends on how you can take pain.
I was REALLY surprised on how it didnt hurt, so I think you should go for it

It does hurt, but not as bad as I'd expected it to.it's definatlly worth the pain though! They're really easy to hide, I used a retainer until it'd healed  then changed it to a circular barbell later on. Flipping a retainer up I much easier but for the first few days flipping it up and down really hurts!

I got my septum pierced.
And it didn't hurt for me. I just shed a tear since theres a tear-duct in your nose.

The clamp hurts more than the actual needle going through. And it's very easy to hide. All you have to do is pull down yur nose or lip, then bring your ring down, and flip it up into your nose. (: I've had mine done for almost 2 months.

No, pinch it with your nails for about 2 seconds, then before you know it , it's done :) felt a bit like my tragus piercing.

They might numb it in which case no. But if they don't it will a bit apparently because they wouldnt numb my friends but it wasnt that bad.

I got mine done yesterday and it was absolute agony! I had my nose and lip done before and they where fine but this was awful. And it's horribly crooked the left side is really low and almost comes out the bottom of my nose. Plus the woman sprayed lots of freezing stuff on my nose without warning me first and I found the plastic part of the needle in my pocket this morning. I love the piercing but it's still really sore. I'm going back to get a smaller ring next week.

One person says it hurts. Then the nexted says it doesnt hurt. Then other people says it hurts a little. To be honest wit you. I don't even have my septum done yet. I'm leavin in a little bit to go get it peirced and as I should say. I know industrial peircings hurt more then anything else. Except for you private areas. But to be honest with you. I was neveus all yesterday and a little bit t0day. But now that I think of it. I got my lebret, snake bites, tounge, ears, and industrial. And I think I can take pain. So I'm going to go do it. If you think its going to hurt then don't get it done. Pain shouldent madder if you really want it done, you know ? Hope all this helps. Gud luck

Why get it pierced if you want to hide it? Anyway to answer the first question - pinch it and see how much it hurts. Yes of course it hurts - it's a very sensitive part of your face. If you get it pierced you will have to keep the piercing in all the time because cartilage piercings close up really quickly ie in a matter of hours you'll find you can't get your piercing back in without extreme pain and bleeding. If you have to hide it from parents or employers or whatever, there's no point in having it done, because you will keep finding that it has closed up during the hours you have had to take the piercing out. Stick with more socially acceptable piercings until you don't have to hide anything any more!
