I personally don't think it's a very good idea too as I had my belly pierced about 6 weeks ago and went on holiday last week and had a reaction to the belly bar and water which made me come out in a rash which left a very unsightly patchy tan on my stomach. But I suppose everybody is different. Good luck (:
