Can You Go Swimming After Having Ears Pierced?

24-48 hrs if it's in a pool (chemically treated), but if it's at a lake, river, etc wait at least a week. Stagnant water and bacteria can infect your ears very quickly. Also when you get out of the water dry them off asap and clean them with ear piercing cleaner. (Not alcohol as it dries holes out and promotes scar tissue.)

I waited until I could take out the earrings so there would be less chance of them coming out or getting infected. If you don't want to wait then I would leave swimming out for about 1 - 2 weeks after getting them pierced.

I waited until I could take my earrings out before I went swimming so there would be less chance of them coming out or getting infected. If you can't wait then I would suggest leaving swimming out for at least 1-2 weeks because the bacteria in the water can infect the piercing very quickly.

I did right after I got my 3rd hole in my ear but I made sure I put meds on before and after so it would get infected

It is best not to swim for 48 hours in case you get an infection.
