There are no solutions to getting fairness within half an hour that won’t cause lasting damage to your skin, apart from makeup - which may actually look a little odd unless you apply it to every part of you that is exposed and you manage to do it without any patchiness or streaking.
If you want fair and glowing skin generally, there are some home remedies that will do the job, but they take some time. You can make a face pack using dried milk powder and honey; not only will this make your skin brighter, but it will help to moisturise it too. You could also add a few drops of almond oil if your skin tends to be on the dry side.
Lemon juice has long been known as a skin lightener, but it is quite astringent, so if you have dry skin, citrus fruits are probably best avoided.
If your skin is oily, one remedy that will help - and give your skin a bright glow, is to take some orange peel and dry it - in an airing cupboard is ideal. Once it is completely dried, shred it into small pieces and then grind it into a fine powder. You can do this in a food processor, or put it in a food bag and pulverise it with a rolling pin. Mix the powder with some natural yogurt and apply it to your skin, again like a face mask.
A mixture of honey and lime juice is another remedy to improve the texture of your skin - it will also make your skin softer and suppler. For younger looking skin, try mixing together chickpea flour, lime juice and milk. Exfoliating regularly and keeping your skin clean all add up to healthy, glowing skin.
