How Can I Do Two French Braids In My Hair?

French braids are easy once you know how. It helps if your hair is all the same length, but you can still try if it isn't!

How To French Braid Your Hair
  • Begin by separating one lock of hair from the rest. You need to take it from wherever you want the French braid to start.
  • Then split this lock into three evenly-sized separate strands - you can try using your fingers as a comb to separate the hair, but you'll probably end up with two large locks and a smaller one if you do it this way, so it's best to use an actual comb.
  • Cross the right-hand strand over the left-hand one, and the left-hand one over the middle one.
  • Take another section of hair from the right side of your head. Add this to the existing right-hand strand, then cross this over the middle one.
  • Next, pick a section of hair from the left side of your head, and add it to the left-hand strand (you pretty much need to mirror what you just did with the right hand side).
  • Repeat this until the braids are complete, and then secure the ends so that they stay in place.

It's like a regular braid, but start at the top of your head and and grab more hair in every strand after each braid.

You have to have someone french braid it for you, it's very hard to do it on yourself.
