What's the difference between "Burberry Classic" and "Burberry Brit" perfume for women?

Burberry Classic and Burberry Brit are two different fragrances by Burberry. Therefore the difference between the two is their smell.

Burberry Classic, as the name suggests, is one of Burberry's best sellers and longest standing women's perfumes. The Burberry website claim the Classic has a 'fruity fragrance' and smells of cedar wood, jasmine, moss and sandalwood.

• Burberry Brit

Burberry Brit is one of the newer fragrances released by Burberry. The Burberry website claim that Burberry Brit has a 'delicate fresh scent' and smells of sugared almonds, amber and mahogany.

The official Burberry website obviously sells both fragrances and this can be visited at the following link burberry.com You will also find that nearly all major perfume shops and counters in department stores will stock both fragrances.

Visiting one of these stores is probably the best plan as that way you are also able to smell both perfumes first. This will give you a chance to compare each smell and decide which you prefer or if you even like any.

• Be careful of fakes

As with any designer label, you will find there are a lot of cheap imitations doing the rounds online and also on the black market. If you find either perfume a lot cheaper on a website or you are offered it from a street seller then you should really avoid buying it. Although you may feel you are saving a fortune, it is highly likely the product you are buying is not official and does not contain the Burberry fragrance.
