It could be.you could hit a vein and bleed really bad.or hit a nerve and permanently freeze your face.so I would get it done by someone who is trained to do it if I were you
Is It Dangerous To Pierce Your Own Lip?
It is not a good idea to do your own piercing. I feel you should seriously reconsider this before having a pierced lip as it is likely to go against you when you come to getting a job and hinder any job prospects.
I think it's ok, if you feel something is wrong when your piercing it just take it out, but other than that you should think and do what you want
It can be. I pierced mine. It be safe to sterilize your needle first and clean the part of your lip thats going to get pierced before you do it. If your not a professional piercer, something can go wrong and then your in trouble. You should spend the 30 or 40 dollars and get it done right. But even then, something could happen.
