Simply move the spring bar along as much as you want to decrease or shorten the length of the strap. To do this, simply insert a spring bar remover into the cavity to free the spring bar and then just move the end as far as you want it and then re-insert the spring bar.
To make the bracelet or strap shorter, simply use a pair of pliers to push the link pin and then extract it. You can replace link pins with the help of a small hammer or even a press.
