What Is The Average Uk Dress Size For A 16 Year Old?

Well I'm 15 16 soon I'm 5 ft 9 and weigh 13 stone and I am a size 14

I'm about 5'10 and I can fit into a size 10 but I prefer a size 12 :s more comfy

I have been trying to research the average size of a 15-16 year old for my GCSE textiles project. It's really hard to find out a reliable figure because the fact is, teenagers all grow at different rates and such and not all people feel at ease to go blurting out their sizes. However, I asked my friends their sizes, a group of 10. Roughly, the average came to a size 10/12. We all have really different builds though which is why there is a slash there. I would trust the 12 more than the 10 though, don't ask why.. Lmao.

I'm 16 and 5'4, I'm a size 8-10.. It all depends and your height and build, if you have a larger build and are a size 12 or 14, it doesn't necessarily mean youre any fatter than a girl with a smaller build at a size 8. Be proud of who you are as the world would be boring if everyone was the same :) x

Well I'm 16 and don't know my hight because I'm disabled there for I am in a wheel chir most of the time and can   walk with help of a walker and I'm size 10 on the bottom and size 10-12 on top depending on the style of the top

Though I've always had quite a small figure and build in general! There is no real average, it depends on the person! ;)

If I had to say an average though, it would be a 10 or 12.

but remember it all depends on your family background, your nationality etc. If your mum is quite big then chances are that you will be too, and vice versa. Just be happy with what you've got.
