I believe it depends on how old it is. Their newer polishes are '3 Free' (no formaldehyde). The '3 Free' Opi polish will state on the bottle that it contains no formaldehyde or it will say, '3 Free'. If it doesn't, then it's probably the older formula which contains formaldehyde.
