It has been a Latino thing for years and years, but for the rest of the people who knows why, its a personal preference.
I don't really understand this trend of late. I don't really think it is attractive in the least on people either. I would rather have a unibrow. Lol
I personally don't like it.. It looks creepy.. I don't know where it came from.. But all I know is that most people who have it are old..(well back in my place) they are getting bald.. And they can't take care of it that much.. Hard to fixed time consuiming so they have a tatoo line... I guess for young age.. Lazy.. Lazy taking care of it naturally.. And some just maybe goes for that style..
Please be gentle with those remarks. I have been so self concious all of my life because I was just simply born pretty much hairless. I have hair on my head..but my eyebrows were always so sparse I had to draw them on. (I have no hair on my arms , legs, or underarms for instance). In high school I got teased a lot. My eye brows would run off when I sweat. I now have them permanently tatooed on but after 8 years of that they have even faded off quite a lot, so I have to fill in anyway. It is very sensitive for me and embarrasing.
My el salvadorian classmate told me that they shave their eyebrows because they're in a gang or what they call it "latino thugs"
