You can use a topical local anesthetic on the skin such as one used for sore throats normally ending in 'caine' such as lidocaine, that mixed with a good pain relief combo of paracetamol and anti inflammatory of ibuprofen should work. It worked for me when I had my belly button pierced and I recommended to a friend who said it worked 4 the tattoo work she was having done ( do this on your own accord this is not medically backed advice merely tried and tested theory)

You can take injection of non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs before and after the procedure. This will not help to stop bleeding but will treat pain.
