How Old Do You Have To Be To Get A Tattoo? And Does It Have To Be Your Legal Guardian If Your Under Age Or Just Someone Of The Legal Age There With You?

You have to be 18 years old without parental consent. I think you can be 16 y/o if your parent or guardian is there- In our town, the parent/guardian has to physically be there (too many high schoolers forged signatures...lol).

You do not have to be 16 with a guardian you can be 13. My friend got one she 14 now but she was 13. And my cousin is 13 and he just got one .He's turning 14 in April

In PA, you can get one as young as 13, obviously with parental consent. You would have to be 18 to get one without.

I'm 14 and I've got 4 now, but I had to get my dad to come with me to get them which really sucked...

I'm pretty sure you have to be 18 and it doesn't matter if you have a guardian.

In Calif, 18 unless you have a guardian over 18 that is present and signs a waiver.
