Rogaine contains minoxidil. It is used to treat androgenic alopecia. Basically it is potassium channel agonist and was introduced for the treatment of high blood pressure. Previously it was available in liquid but now in foam form. Its mode of action to regrow hairs is not know. It has been seen that it is effective in young age like 18-40. It is more effective in the center of head not on front.  The reason for this are still unknown for more information,  visit Rogaine.
