When you are younger the media tells you that beauty is represented by what they dictate in magazines and TV.
As you experience the world you learn that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that it is held in personal perception and so has a wideset of characteristics and personalities. For the most part, people don't like to be told what should be regarded as beautiful, they like to decide for themselves.
