The age old saying if it looks to good to true certainly is right on this one. As I went through the process in the small print it states that you will be charged an addition $89.00 + for the watch after 30 days. If you go through with the purchase you have to return the watch within 30 days or they will bill your CC...

Ooops...sorry ..it's 14 days and then they will send you another watch every 30 days for the same $89. So, it like a record club deal...

Not 30 days - 10! Not only that the watch they sent for the free offer had a dead battery! My Geneva Watch is a scam outfit from way back!

I had a brain fart and tried it. Believe the old adage "if it's too good to be true, it is". This is your basic back alley dirt bag scam. Even if you read the fine print, it states that they will bill you in 14 days if you don't cancel but it implies only the $1.00 - $4.99 introduction price. Not much of a risk, why bother canceling? The $19.99 & the $88.98 however is what they actually bill you and of course then it is too late. Since it would take an attorneys distorted mind to dffer with their distorted wording, you are at their mercy and some cash. You have to email them to get an RMA #, then pay shipping to return an otherwise $10.00 or $15.00 trinket quality watch. You are then, if really lucky, only out the scammed introduction fees.

Like the earlier warning stated, not a bad scam for the million emails sent out and maybe the %10 brain farts that give them their card #'s.

Also remember this, for the many that might not cancel for whatever reason, they will send you another watch, every month until you do cancel with another $88.98 minimum hit to that card. Boy oh boy, I hate the taste of sucker!

I have fallen for the same scam. I fell that we are just the tip of the iceberg. Deceptive advertising with conditions that are difficult to meet and often attached as a promotional device. If you try to cancel by email thet will reply with a message stating that you should wait 48 hours for a reply.
I will never do business with this company again and urge everyone to be extremely cautious about spending any money or accepting any free trial offer with this company

This is truly a scam and the watch is a bubble gum machine watch and not even worth the $4.99 that they initially charge.  Then when you are hit with a charge they promise to refund it and next thing you know there customer service hours are now change to a time that you may not be able to call if your working. I HHHHAAATTTEE TTHHHEEMMMM!

Yes this is a HUGE scam, but you can beat it if you continue to read their fine print under terms and conditions, it says you agree with their terms on the website upon ordering,  however; you read further on  it says you should click on the box that you agree with their terms before you submit your credit card info, I am guessing that many never EVER clicked that box. THEREFORE YOU ARE NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH THEIR TERMS!!!!!! I cancelled immediately after hitting the return key, called by phone and they were rude, hung up on me and refused to let me cancel by phone, then two day days later they accepted my cancellation by phone. Remember as a consumer we have rights to cancel any product at anytime, even before they ship it. They still billed me and I am refuting this scam with the banks at this time.  UPon the numerous calls made to this company , the rep told me to return to sender , in which I did but according to their website they want you to pay for  tracking their item etc. They lie and they give you false information by phone, but still I never agreed to their terms and refused this product. Stay strong and read ALL FINE PRINT with any orders. NEVER NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY , THEY WANT YOUR ACCOUNT INFO TO KEEP SENDING YOU JUNK, AND BILLING $90 EVERY MONTH. IF YOU HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM, CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT CREDIT CARDS OR BANK INFO, THEY WON'T STOP BILLING YOU EVEN AT YOUR REQUEST,REMEMBER THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. I

No, it's so much worse than that!

Dear Geneva Watch,

Since I am disputing the already billed charges from you, and since I am certainly happy to know that no further charges will accrue, I am confident that our one-sided relationship is terminated. However, in order to be fair to you, I would like to return the product you have sent and in order to do so, I gather that I will still need that RMA form, which you promised to send out within 48 hours of my original request.  I am again requesting you send me the RMA form so that my request to cancel your monthly charges does not remain encumbered by my retention of the watch you sent.

You must understand that my original interest in your product came off a promotion on my BankCard statement billing envelope;  the followup on your web page was, I thought, a step in confirming that sign-up - not, as I have come to discover, a ruse to sign up for a trial membership for a product that is hardly worth even 10% of what you are charging your "customers."  Who are you kidding.  There is not one good monograph on the internet that I have found regarding your tactics, product, or "services," and I am slightly more than irritated that my bank allowed you access to their billing materials.  Needless to say, they have heard my frustration aired several times since receiving your billing.

Once you have sent me the RMA form you request and require to have your product returned, please remove my name and information from your system and be advised that I have disputed the charges levied by you on my account in January with my bank.

I thought that I was initially getting a great deal...a nice watch for $4.99 yet they charged my credit card with $88.99 and didn't even get the watch shown on te website. I called them immediately and asked why they did that when they were unauthorized to do so. The sales representative told me that the website clearly stated that I would be charged after 10 days...after FINALLY finding the Terms and Conditions section at the bottom of the page, I read everything carefully. He lied!!! I had 14 days, I called my bank the next day and told them that it was an unauthorized transaction and filed a claim. I called My Gevena Watch the next day and told them that they made an unauthorized charge on my card because technically the 14 days had not yet passed. So the lady asked me "Mam' did you read the terms and conditions" and I told her "listen you stupid f*** I went over the terms and conditions with my bank and they've determined that it was an unauthorized transaction so if I don't see the money back on my card by the end of the week you're ass is getting sued!!!" I did end up getting my money back but I had to go through so much crap with those stupid sales reps...just make sure you call them and ask for the RMA#(because they do not include it in the cancellation email) and notify your bank ASAP!!! Don't wait till the last minute to cancel because they might use their terms and conditions against you!!!

It's definitely a scam but I usually read everything before I make any purchase. I'm kicking myself now of course but I swear the page you see when you sign up after taking a survey is different then the one that is featured on their website. On their actual site (which they are happy to give you the link for if you ask for a refund) it has that they will charge you 88.90 or whatever after the trial period in BOLD but I SWEAR this was not on the page that pops up after completing a survey because I know I would have seen it and backed out. I believe they have two separate sign up pages one without the 88.90 charge and one with it. I've been trying to find the survey I initially took to find the page without the charge but it's near impossible. The page I filled out probably still has what they will charge you in fine print but I know it wasn't in bold like they have it on their main site.

Start with the less obvious. I sell geneva watches on e-bay for between $25-30 and I make a nice profit. So we can now see the disparity. It's like any of the cyber-scams we see by the thousands every day. They will give you just enough information so you don't bother to READ the term and conditions, and like the rest of them the trail period starts immediately upon ordering. Pretty much the same as rebates you never claim. They will make plenty of money just off the first watch alone. You find out the hard way after you already have the watch. Cancel the credit card , they still got you for $90 or so. Now multiply that by a million unfortunates who didn't cancel in time and TA DA: Nice scheme.
As they say "If it sounds too good to be true...)

I received a different watch than the one advertised also with a dead battery.  I was charged $89.00 without knowing about it.  I tried calling them about this but you have to pay $10.00 to join their "group" to even talk to anyone.  Received  scam

YES YES  YES!!!!!  It is just as everyone else said...you actually have to click on a separate link to even read the terms and conditions....and then they are still very vague.  DON'T DO IT!!!  Could have won a watch at the local fair and been worth more.

Yes big rip off, but read their terms and conditions you MUST CLICK ON THAT BOX YOU AGREE WITH THEIR TERMS, IAM GUESSING MANY IF ALL NEVER CLICKED THAT BOX... SO YOU ARE NOT AT THEIR MERCY UPON GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK.By the way , have you thought that what if someone under the age of 18, ordered with your info, that nulls and voids your agreement doesn't it?  You have to fight back and put this scam company out of business....  Don't give up , whatever it cost , the CONSUMER is 'ALWAYS RIGHT!"

YES A BIG RIPE OFF!! What ever you do don't order one of these watches , you will have a living nightmare in trying to return it , they will change the return date rules more than once to claim that you didnt get the crappy watch back in time , and then weeks after sending you a email stating they were closing your account and NO more charges would go to your bank ..guess what they LIED cause you are still going to be getting charged 88.99 , and have to spend hours trying to get your money back.

YES! Took a survey, have a charge (suppose to be $5.00) and it's $88.something...they call and I said "I took a survey for a 5 dollar watch, right>? They hung up and haven't called.  What do you do?  I cannot remember where I was when the survey popped up.  I don't EVER fall for that junk or fill out things, but I'm going to go ballistic if they use my card again.  People that would do that to others, ESPECIALLY in this economy and in these times are truly evil.

All rules are broken by this so called company.  They don't send the $1.00 watch for 17 days which is past the return time of 14 days and time to cancel whatever it is that you became a member of unknowingly.  Then they charge you before you actually received the watch.
  Signed   another sucker!

YES!!!!! It is a scam do not order this or any other offer on the free gift offers on a survey.  I had no idea I would be charged 88.99 for the watch. I knew nothing about a trial period. And I did not know about any other cost until it was taken out of my bank account. It was advertised as a gift for taking the survey . I thought the company having the survey would be picking up the cost of the watch.  To me this falls back on the company offering the survey, they should know what these companies are doing to their customers. I am informing all companies I do business with about these SCAMS.

Yes, yes, yes!  It is definitely a SCAM!!

Don't order a watch from them.  They have an auto subscription that they don't tell you about and your credit card automatically gets charged $88.99 per month.  Even if you try to cancel, they say, "they're processing the cancellation".  Don't do it!

Huge scam, crooks......I live in Canada so I was charged the 89.99 plus s&h and also another charge of 21.99 turns out that was for the sunglasses. You can buy this cheap piece of crap for 10 bucks on e-bay and the sunglasses are included in the box. Not me, no..just a cheap watch with the box all banged up. I have sent the information to my credit card company and after 2 months I received the 21.99, still waiting for the rest and oh yeah, I sent the watch back and that cost me 15 bucks. I am still out the 89.99 plus the s&h and the exchange rate. Scam artists, you would think that it would be illegal. How can people with a conscience even work for these Asians?

Yes it is a scam.  I thought I was only paying a total of 4.99 for the watch but I was actually charged 88.98 in addition to the 4.99.  Once I contacted them about the charge they told me I had to email them in order to get a RMA #.  The email contradicted their website by stating I had to return the watch w/n "10" days from the date I ordered it but the website stated 14 days.  I was never provided with a RMA number.

I was billed after only 12 days; it wasn't til then that I realized something was going on. My fault...I didn't read the terms well enough. That said, even though I had a day to spare when I cancelled and requested a return authorization, they told me it was too late. The real kicker? The watch I received wasn't even a Geneva!!

Boy, is it ever.  The watch I got for $1.00 plus $2.99 shipping, looks real nice.  But, none of the little dials on the face work - they are just decals on the face.  This is a $5.00 watch at best,  And, if you don't get an RMA and return the watch immediately, you will be charged $89.99.  I disputed this charge and was referred to their website which clearly explains the charges in the Terms and Conditions.  I will not be scammed by these folks again.  I will gladly join any Class Action Lawsuit if one is filed.

I also ordered this $1.00 watch. Nothing was sent but a bill on my Visa Card. I never did see a 10 or 30 day limit. Have cancelled my card and have disputed this charge for a watch that I never ordered for any amount of $90.00 !  I flat refuse to pay this!

Scam no doubt.  All is true.  I waited 43 min on the phone and finally hung up.  Went to the cancellation page and my name and email were nonexsistant.  I went to the customer support page and sent a message.  I'm suppose to get a response with in 24 hours.  I'll report the info I receive; wish me luck!

Thanks , it pop up on a separate website where I usually buy baseball stuff for my kids over the last few years representing itself (ruse) like it was part of the baseball merchant stating that after taking a quick 4 question survey I would win a prize of my choosing. I pick a women's watch for my wife, only to find out on a different link/ terms and conditions what was really going on per say --I cancelled within 15 mins and called my credit-card to dispute the order hopefully and sent them a edmail to cancel also, I learned by chanced on a web search and this web in particular telling me the truth about the people and their scam.  I hope in the nick of time I don't mine if I lose the 5 bucks but 88 bucks--no way.

The survey is a popup page that is caused by adware Gamevance, it won't help the current situation but if you install the Super Anti Spyware free edition it will remove the adware from your computer, therefor you won't get the popups to start with. Also go to your bank and dispute the charges loud and aggressively. Ask for the name and address of the card issuer, and the name of the state agency that controls banking in your state. This is what I did and it worked.

Yes it is. Here's their address: 511 E. Harvard St. Suite #5 Glendale, CA 91205
It is a small office dedicated to tricking you out of your money. Call Investment Property Services (818-956-7006) to complain about this dishonest company as they manage the property. Let's bug the heck out of these people as they seem to be aware of their renter's activities.

I am telling you, if you have just fallen in this SCAM, instead of being complaining about the mistake, start to do something, as I did. First, go to www.genevawatch.com/cancel and cancel your membership, this way you wont receive anything else, but the first one. After that, save as a print screen or something, in order to prove, if you need. So, as soon as you receive your first watch, do not be desperate. Take it and send back to the address, do not forget to take the resending number before. (you can read about this when you click information on the bottom of the page), This way, it may happen like with me, they just gave my money back and stop sending anything.

They send you a watch that costs $1. Rip you off $88 bucks and then claim you should have cancelled. Please is there any legal action one can bring against this people to stop this?
They deserve to rot in hell fire! Please is there anyway I can get my money back?
