I've heard that toothpaste works effectively on pimples and completely dries up the eruption caused on the skin surface. But try out in very little dose on just one pimple, since, there are chances of burning sensation. You can also rub ice cubes over your skin surface for a cooling effect. And most importantly, you need to be very cautious about the food that you eat because oily food and junks will definitely increase the skin eruptions. If you can't fight your pimples, check if it is due to hormonal imbalance.
Try using rose water (dab it in a cotton ball and apply on the affected area), aloe vera gel (either natural/ aloe based face washes), place slices on cucumber on your face (will reduce skin irritation and soothens the skin by providing a cooling effect), sandalwood powder/paste is an amazing ingredient that heals skin irritations etc.,
Becareful when you use citric acid based ingreditents (like lemon, tomato and ornage). When you are trying such products, first, try it in very small doses and even when it suits your skin, dilute/mix it along with other face packs and use it on your skin. Never use citric acid based products on your skin directly and don't dream about it when your skin is affected by pimples. Remember that pimples will lead to acne, when untreates or mistreated.
Lastly, don't keep switching from one product to the other. Stick to one product, wait for results and if it not working for you, consult your physician and gradually move from one product to the other.
