Used to have it down to my waist, cut it off a few years ago for reasons. Thinking of growing it back soon, since I dealt with the hair problem I had :>

I had long hair when I was younger and got out of the service but now as I'm older, I still keep it longer but combed back all the time.

It depends on the face.
But my personal rule is I'd never date a guy who has longer OR prettier hair than I do. :)
I like short hair .. And I'm so into beards now. No guys allowed to have longer or pretty hair than I have. I'm not sharing my hair care products or hair dryer or mirror time

Considering my own hair length and style I'm going have to say that longer hair for guys is radicle, my own hair is so long that if I put it forward it covers my entire face.
I think it really depends on the guy. I've seen guys who have long hair who would look better with short, and vice versa. I saw this one guy had soft wavy hair a little above his shoulders. He could definitely pull it off :)

It really depends on the guy. Generally speaking, younger guys do better at pulling off longer hair, but there are some older ones who can as well, and some younger guys who can't.
