High waisted trousers and jeans seem to be everywhere at the moment. You can probably wear a lot of the same clothes with them that you wore with low-cut or hipster jeans - they shouldn't look bad - but to show off your high-waisted jeans, a short top or bolero jacket is good. I have seen people wearing a blouse tucked into a high trouser waistband - a bit like old Katherine Hepburn films - but would say that only looks good on thin people.
Generally, high-waisted jeans are quite flattering if you have a bit of a tummy, but can make a large backside look even larger. If you have the latter problem, you could try a top that comes below the waistband.
