Id say 25-100ish. Depending on the cost of the tattoo... I never tip less than 25-50 bucks.

Depends on the cost of the tattoo...but I would say 1/4th the cost, ie $100 Tattoo = $25 Tip
I tip about 25% of any tattoos and piercings I get. This makes the
artist more willing to accommodate you in the future if they know you're
a good tipper and you will spread the word.
