After a grooming? It can vary by dog a little but most need to or have their hair cut every 4 to 8 weeks. The longer the hair the more often they must be professionally done and the more work it requires at home (and will often eventually need to have it all taken off at some point if there is one little mistake). Most people keep their pups really short (smoother body with a cute little head and trimmed up tail) up to about 2 or 3 inches long or so. Definitely easier to maintain and more comfortable for them when it's shorter (those are the 4 to 8 weeks lengths)
