If you have to ask yourself whether or not your Breitling Bentley Watch serial number J4432 is real, it's probably fake. Basically, a true Breitling watch of this make and model will come with all manner of documentation and packaging that proves it authenticity. These types of wristwatches, when genuine, are quite expensive; you won't find one for sale on the street, unless it is stolen. 99 percent of the time, you can be certain any watch you buy without paperwork or other supporting provenance will be a clever replica of an original. Of course, you can always take your watch to a certified appraisal expert or jewelry to make sure - but beware! If your watch is a fake, the jeweler or appraiser may be obligated to report you to the manufacturer.

The serial number alone is not enough to prove the authenticity of your watch, since it can be faked so easily. To get a better sense of whether or not your watch is the real things, look at it closely and check for a distinctive, luminous blue-purple glow on the crystal. A true Breitling will always have this characteristic, and a fake won't; the markers on your wristwatch should also have a luminous quality. The logo on your watch should be expertly engraved, and not painted onto the surface. The watch itself should have a solid, weighty feel, since it is made with precious metals and the finest materials. Fakes will not have the same substance and weight, and their details will not be as finely crafted.

Replicas of famous watches, such as Breitling Bentley's, are available all over the world. Many people are content to wear copies of the original, since they can't afford the real things, or they don't wish to invest that much disposable income in a timepiece. However, true Breitling watches will usually be accompanied by proper documentation that confirms they are genuine. Without this paperwork, it's pretty safe to say you're wearing a facsimile.

No, its a copy. I have the same watch, bought it in Rhodes in 2005. Keeps good time and looks good.
