Will Picking Your Nose Make Your Nostrils Bigger?

No, it's just a myth. You shouldn't pay any heed to it .

Yeah, my nostrils are definitely bigger now than before I started picking my nose (a year ago). If I stop picking my nose, will it eventually go back to normal size or will my nostrils stay expanded forever?

Well.. I would think that if you irritate or injure any part of your body to certain point it would get bigger. I.e. If someone punched you in the nose or eye it would get swollen and puff up. I don't know how someone could pick their nose so bad that it would cause injury, but everyone is different I guess.
Here's a mega tip though, if picking your nose is bothering you that much then STOP!!!! Lol :)

Are you sure it can't widen your nostrils? I don't pick my nose but I touch it constantly when I'm alone, I think its some sort of nervous habit, and it helps me relax - I have done it for years and its become a subconscious habit now, which is worrying. Aside from my nose looking a little red, I could have sworn my nostrils look bigger? Anyone know if this can happen?

If you stick things that are bigger than your nostrils in them sure! Skin is ply-able and as you seek people walking around with the stretchers in there ears and nose the skin will stretch and won't come back eventually just like elastic!

It does get bigger. It's not a myth, and people who don't know whether or not it's true shouldn't answer and mislead others.

Okay so it depends on you, if you, uhhhh, pick your nose (ewww) a lot than you can.
Also if you pick a lot you can cause severe irritation to your nostrils.

Well, now that all depends on the size of your fingers and how often you stick your fingers up there. If your fingers are small, or at least smaller than your nostril opening, then I think you are safe to go, however if not, then if you plan on keeping it in there all day ( or quite often that is ), then I am here to tell you that most likely you will have a little stretching of your nostril opening and probobly should think twice before digging for treasure.
