The black tattoo that I have had for over 20 years only faded to a dark gray- someone got some really cheap ink- they got ripped off or the person doing the tattoo did not inform the person that the ink they were using was low quality. Tribal ink is the best ink- make sure it is high quality ink, low quality ink is not good and it turns to blue because the dye was low (cheap) quality.
