Naww this is what you do! First you put wave greece in your hair into your hair! You can use nunile,360style,sportin waves, or maurrys hair greese anf get a soft brissled brush! And add the greese to your hair and rub it in until it fades away and brush it ! I mean a lot ! And then wrap it up in a durag for the night. Each morning you should see some results keep brushing, greesing and duraging until waves come in ! (by the way you can buy the wave greases in a bueaty suply store!)

Here is the method that got me waves on the sides of my head
1. Connection: First before you get waves on the sides, you have to brush on the connection parts of your head. What I mean by that is you have to brush your hair between where your sides meet.If that didnt help you, maybe this will. There are 4 sides of your head, your front, back, left side, and right side. There is an area where those 4 sides meet. Brush in between them for connection. The reason I say this is so that when you get waves on the sides, your waves will be connected (I prefer this).
2.Brushing: If you want to get waves on the sides then you have to brush your sides more. There are 2 ways for brushing your sides.
Brushing to the Temple: When you brush to the temple, you get waves down to your hair line.
Brushing down: When you brush straight down, you get waves on the sides and get a better connection.
That is my method for getting waves on the sides.

It does not take a week to get waves on ones head. The procedure is pretty simple and can be done over a few hours. It can be simply done by braiding the hair over night and seeing the results in the morning. It can also be done using one of the commercially available wave waxes. These can be applied over night with a wave cap. The benefits of these creams and jells can be increased by applying shampoos that naturally thicken hair and conditioners. The kind of brush should be soft like that of horse hair. It is best not to comb hair as it might straighten the same. Instead try using your hands to set your hair. Parlors also specialize and curling and providing different hair styles.
