To each his own. Just think if you were this cat, he's lucky enough to have 4 ears. Pretty cool, eh?
Dear Misty Law,
I felt neutral or negative about extra ear piercings (my own ears were pierced when I was eighteen)...but then I really liked the work of actress Camryn Manheim on TV show THE PRACTICE, so now am more appreciative...
But would still just never take the time and trouble to thread all those things in and out of my own ears all the time...
It's their personal choice and lots of people like to be trendy -- shrapnel in the face, multiple piercings, technicolour hair styles, tattoos. I've gotta confess that I'm guilty, too. I've grown a large patch of skin where less progressive people prefer to have hair. Just call me Mr Cool.
It's a personal choice and not ours to judge.
I wouldn't choose that many for myself, but others are free to choose differently.
If they have a professional job, more than two piercings per ear can be distracting. As a professional you want people to focus on your work, not your jewelry. Other than that, I couldn't care less what someone does with their ears.
It's there job to be themselves,
just as it is yours to be who you are.
Be glad its not your job.
If that's how people choose to express themselves c: I have a few piercings myself ;) I like them a lot ^_^ but as long as you're happy, it shouldn't matter.
i would never pierce any part of my body im totally against piercings and tattoos i feel like its vandalism a women piercing her ears is fine tho other then that ill pass
edit: Also, people should stop and keep it to themselves if they feel the urge to give an unsolicited opinion on your look. If it makes you happy, do it, and be proud of it.
imo, a lot of anything on anyone can't look good, but I'm kinda a minimalist. I do really appreciate the aesthetic of a couple piercings, like dermal ones:
I wanted my ear lobes pierced when I was 12, and now I don't even like wearing earrings :/
