I've always follow my own style and I'm too old to change now.
When I was younger I hated the way I looked, I was different from my peers and I desperately wanted to fit in! I've got long, curly blonde hair, and that was what I hated the most. While I was in high school, emo/scene/goth hairstyles became really popular, and a lot of my friends adopted them easily as they already had dark, straight hair. I really wanted to be like them, as pretty much everyone considered them attractive, but I couldn't.
Now I love my hair though, and I wouldn't change it! I've also accepted that the way I dress is different from most people, but that's okay, because I'm comfortable with it!
I copy no one. I've been doing my own thing since I was 35 years old.
Neither ... My personal taste is very simple .. I am a jeans and a Tshirt kinda girl. However, I do pay attention to fashion trends at least to a certain extent .. And buy clothing fitting to my age group. That is not exactly 'copying' someone else nor is it an eclectic form of 'dressing myself'
I have my own favorites, styles, products ect . . I hate to copy others. I am entitled to who i am. I am myself, can't be someone else, so i never copy someone else.
However, ages ago, most of the fashion trends being almost the same. One or two other styles near the same fashion been available both for man and woman. Today, despite we have many styles, yet many clothing might look similar or so align. That wouldn't be copying tho!
