I love the clothes from the Roaring 20's ! Especially in Boardwalk Empire.
Each Era has it's own unique style but my most favorite clothing era is U.S 1950-1980 even so can follow to the older years . . .
Just the suits it's amazing hats! And ladies outfit gosh! The most breathtaking ladies clothing in my opinion!
I'm still a fan of 1950's fashion.
Great question. That's a hard one to answer.
I love the Victorian era, the opulence of the fabrics and the corsets.
I also love the 30's with the loose fitting flapper stlye.
I like the form fitting of the 50's and how it accentuated the hour glass shape of a woman's body.
The sixties were cool with hippie style tie dyes and all that fringe.
The 70's were just okay and the 80's with all that disco didn't appeal to me.
My best answer is now.... Wear what ever you like. Love the freedom.
I think the 1940s.
The modern era, because you can dress however you wish. Some people are dapperer than other people.

Thank goodness for slim fit, and not your grandpa's trousers that can fit 2 people inside.

The over-the-top exuberance of the styles, colors, and materials was great - pointed collar tabs, wide belts and wide wale corduroy, heeled boots with square toes, bell bottoms, tie-dyed everything, etc. To be honest, I hated bell bottoms. I am short aqnd chereatibily described as "sturdy". I looked absolutely silly in bell-bottoms.
This one. I am growing up in bc I can wear nice blue jeans and sweaters in the winter. And nice shorts and t shirts and yank tops in the summer time. It USED TO BE my era, but now the kids today like the shorts with deeper pockets. The whole arm goes down those.
