Your eye colour shows a bit of green and a bit of brown, but the mix makes it look more like hazel than any other colour.

The image below shows a list of all the main eye colours - I would say you could be any of the bottom three.

Eye colour is determined by genetics - the 'code' that you inherit from your parents. The genetic code is dispersed in melanin, a chemical that creates pigmentation in the eyes, skin and hair. The genes from your parents tell the chemical how much melanin to release into the eyes. Depending on the amount, your eyes could turn out blue, green or brown.

As your eyes are hazel-brown, you can see from the bottom three rows that one of your parents should have brown eyes, and the other either blue, brown or green.

Is this necessary that you inherit eye colour of one of your parents only??.... I have pure black eyes.... similar to my grandma... my mom has hazel eyes and dad's is pure brown.
