Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water. They're inserted empty, and then filled once they're in place.

A saline breast implant will noticeably deflate if it starts to leak, while a leak may not be noticeable with a silicone implant. This is a cause for concern with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). There is no evidence of long-term health issues because of silicone leaking into the body, but the FDA recommends you undergo an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) every 2 years to detect leaks.

While Silicone implants are pre-filled with silicone gel — a thick, sticky fluid that closely mimics the feel of human fat. Most women feel that silicone breast implants look and feel more like natural breast tissue.

For a Plastic Surgery; you should have a good physical condition for the procedure. After having a Plastic Surgery one feels that the recovery takes a longer duration and implants began to hurt but, you must know the right place wherein to catch up for the procedure.I suggest you to go and take professional help. Saline-filled implants are silicone shells filled with sterile salt water (saline). Silicone-filled implants are silicone shells filled with a plastic gel (silicone). Although many women say that silicone implants feel more like real breasts than saline, they pose more of a risk if they leak. The sale of silicone implants was halted in 1992 because of safety concerns but in 2006, after reviewing more research, the FDA started allowing certain silicone breast implants back on the market.

Different cosmetic surgery services has different kinds of procedures and risks. It would be best if you have a talk with your daughter and decide on which of the implants will be best suited to you.
