Why do people have such stupid tattoos these days?

I think it's probably because tattoos have become such a mainstream thing that more and more people are getting them done without giving much consideration to what they're getting tattooed on their skin permanently.

The increased demand has also meant tattoo studios popping up everywhere, and unfortunately not all of them take pride in their work like they should do.

There are a growing number of tattooists out there who just want to make a fast buck and aren't concerned about helping their customers make informed decisions.

This is especially the case when young and inexperienced teenagers show up at tattoo studios.

Rather than encouraging them to take their time and do some research into what they want inked, more and more artists these days seem content to encourage people to simply pick a design out of their catalogue. These same people often rush through jobs because they want to get as much work done as possible.

High rents and other economic circumstances mean this problem is getting worse and worse.

Don't be discouraged though, there are still plenty of decent artists and studios out there.

And, at the end of the day, it's your job to make sure the tattoo you're paying for is of the best quality you can possibly get.
