Is it safe to get fills if a sculpt/acrylic nail has been lifting for a few weeks?

When the acrylic nail is lifting, it is best to have it trimmed off
where it is lifting and then you can replace that with the fill.  If it
is lifting, there is the chance water will get under it and cause mold
and fungus.  So, be sure to trim off the unsecure acrylic and then
replace with a fill.
