Eyeshadow palettes can be used in any manner you choose, depending on
where you are going and if it is a day or night activity. Typically,
you would use your very light colors such as cream on the browbone and
in the inner eyelid. The darker colors can be used along the eyelid or
just on the outer half of the eyelid and smudged. Another option is to
use the darker colors in the crease of the eyelid and a medium color on
the lid itself. You can be creative and try different colors on
different parts of the eyelid to achieve the look you want.
