I was twelve or thirteen when I got armpit hair similar to arm hair. Personally I started shaving it immediately, as I wasn't comfortable with growing up. But my sister is eleven and she has a few strands of armpit hair almost an inch long. Really, everybody is different, but as an age range I'd guess age 7-16.
It usually starts when they hit puberty. That can start as early as 9 years old
I got my period (I am about 13) but I do not have ANY dark armpit hair. Does this mean I have lots of growing to do?
