Oh my god, I just got African Twist for the first time and they are hurting so bad. If I was rich I would cut these out so with that said, I'll deal with the pain. 120.00 is a lot of money so I'm not about to waste my money. But I know for sure this is my first and last time getting African Twist. Oh my god...

It depends on if you want senegalese, two strand or coils. Either way, there are several natural hair care sites that provide step-by-step instructions for creating them. Nappturality.com

To give your hair the African twist, the first thing that is required is to select the kind of twist that you want to make in your hair and it should also resemble with the style that is prevailed in Africa. The prime style that can make you look like an African is that you should create a braid in your hair. If you take a number of braids together, you yourself feel that it looks like an African style of hair.

There are some other methods also that you can try and some times doing nothing can also make your hair look like an African. What you van do is to not to comb your hair and neither let it cut for a few months, you will automatically find that your hair has dreadlocks in it and that can make your hair look like that it has been given an African twist.
