Well, we were burglarized 30 some years ago. All of my jewelry was stolen, including heirlooms. Since then, I've never invested in expensive jewelry. My wedding ring is lovely, and I'm happy spending my money on other things.
I like the look of gold better. :)
The only jewelry that I wear is a platinum ring with a stone.

Gold. I have very pale skin and silver just gets lost on it, but gold is a nice contrast.
