Facial steams is yet another method to get rid of blackheads. You can either do it by yourself at home or go for a facial sitting in the parlor. I had blackheads and whiteheads on my nose and a single facial sitting helped me get rid of my blackheads problem. In fact, I told the beautician not to use any tools to remove my blackheads. Just the steaming proved great results in my case.

You can also try using homemade scrubs like the baking soda scrub, honey and sugar scrub etc., to treat your blackhead problems. If not, go for face washes that exclusively cater to blackhead removal. Neutrogena had blackhead removal face wash and the product is available at Amazon.in.

Use Lemon. Lemon is another natural ingredient that is effective in treating blackheads. Squeeze few drops of lemon juice in a bowl, add salt and stir the mixture well. Wash your face with warm water and apply the mixture on the blackheads. Leave for some 20 minutes and wash your face again with warm water.

Gently pat skin with honey

This is only slightly different than the method of washing the face with honey in that you do not need to wash your face with water before - for any way, shape or form. (Although you'd have a clean face before you begin.)Honey should be kept very sticky to achieve the highest efficiency.

Pour a small amount of honey onto your fingertips and quickly patted the facial area that you want to remove blackheads. Honey will stick to the pores and get all the dirt out of the pores as you move the finger. Honey has mild antibacterial effect and antioxidant support, so the leftover dirt in your pores will not be oxidized (and turning black) quickly.

Continued implementation in three minutes or more, and then rinse with water.

First of all, blackheads can caused by several reasons such as unbalanced diet, changes in hormone, lack of skin care as well as using cosmetics excessively, genetics or stress. However, it's possible to treat them by using some natural ingredients without harm. Here they are:
1. Lemon Juice: Lemon contains vitamin C and acid which can remove dirt and sebum from skin very well. Do it 2 times per week. You can use lemon juice directly to apply to the skin, for about 15 minutes and rinse with clean water.
2. Honey: Take about 3-5 teaspoons of honey to boil up, let it cool down and then rub on the skin acne. You wait until the layer of honey dry and then peel off the skin. Blackheads will be glued to the mask and will be pulled out easily. This is considered as one of effective home remedies for blackheads. You can perform 2-3 times/week until you get smooth skin as wished.
3. Glair: Get glair by a thick layer on the skin (usually 2 sides of the nose) and then take a small piece of tissue paper to place on it. Wait for the mask to dry completely, lightly peel the layers off the nose. Dried glair will pull blackheads out quickly.
4. Turmeric: You prepare turmeric and mint juice, then mix them together to create a solution and apply it to blackheads, leave it around 3-5 minutes and rinse with warm water.
5. Toothpaste: Take a little toothpaste on acne skin and gently rub 2-3 minutes then rinse with cool water.

Honey mixed with cinnamon to make a scrub works well for me. I have sensitive skin and cinnamon obviously burns, so I only use it once a day. Whatever works best for you though
